Easy CGI Launches Free Domain Privacy Feature
Pearl River, NY - June 25, 2007 - Easy CGI is pleased to implement a new Domain Privacy Feature that clients can activate for any domain registered through the Easy CGI Domain Registrar. Most domain registration and web hosting providers charge a monthly or yearly fee for the same service, but Easy CGI is honored to give this additional security to clients at no additional cost.
With Easy CGI's Domain Privacy Feature, personal information will not be exposed in public WHOIS databases, preventing spam, unwanted phone calls and other unnecessary aggravation. The Easy CGI customer will retain full ownership and control of their domain. Domain registration information, including the Administrative, Billing and Technical contacts, is simply masked with generic contact information within public WHOIS databases. Requests to contact the domain owner are filtered and forwarded to the customer.
