Facility

The Easy CGI office and Data Center are located in the Blue Hill Plaza office complex in Pearl River, NY. This facility provides over 1.2 million square feet of office and Data Center space to over 100 tenants, including Verizon. Easy CGI maintains its corporate headquarters directly adjacent to its Data Center. This provides our own qualified staff direct access to all systems. We are never forced to rely on a 3rd party provider for our growing infrastructure requirements. Our Network Operations Center (NOC) provides our 2nd level technicians with powerful proactive monitoring tools that instantly alert us to a potential problem with any system. Our staging area provides our system administrators with a test and development environment for new technology.

Staff

With extremely high staff retention rates, we are confident in our ability to provide consistent and quality service and support to our customers. We maintain a relaxed environment that is the envy of the industry. Support staff is onsite, 24 hours a day to answer phones, email, and correct system problems.

Network

Easy CGI's network is constantly evolving to fit our exceptional growth. Our Internet connection is provided by redundant Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) fiber optic uplinks to varied geographic locations. These connections operate on SONET technology are are provided by Verizon and Optimum Lightpath for maximum fault tolerance. We maintain direct connections to some of the largest backbones on the internet: UUNET (Verizon/MCI), Sprint, Savvis, Verio, Global Crossing, InterNAP and NAC. These Internet uplinks are connected to our physical network by redundant Cisco Routers, that in turn connect to Redundant Netscreen Firewalls, then our redundant network switching core. This entire network infrastructure runs on Gigabit Fiber.

Infrastructure

Our 15,000 square foot Data Center is on raised flooring, allowing easy access to electric and network cabling. Raised floors also provide a perfect distribution method for the cold air generated by our 20 ton Leibert Air Conditioning units. Liebert UPS systems provide consistent and clean power as well as an interim backup in the event of street power failure. In the rare event of a power failure, a 500KW Caterpillar generator is standing by.

Security

Both Data Center and Office access are monitored by secure access controls. All guests to our facility are escorted at all times during their visit. Network and Data Cabinets are kept locked at all times. System data is backed up on an automated schedule to fault tolerant Network Access Storage (NAS) systems in the event of a system failure.

Technology

The Easy CGI Hosting Control Panel is the most advanced, feature filled control panel for Windows Web hosting available on the market. Our control panel is developed completely in-house, giving us the ability to wrap new and existing features around our users´ needs, the Windows OS, and its applications. All production servers are provided by Dell - the gold standard when it comes to high performance rack mount and blade Data Center servers. Easy CGI maintains a long term relationship with this industry leader. All servers run Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. The Windows Server product offers the most flexible, secure, advanced and is the fastest platform on which to host your Web site.
